Turn your SPEAKERS on and sing After You've Gone And Left Me Cryin'...
NEW!  After the Sunday, MARCH 21 program at the Jazz Bakery,
come along with the singers to the
Culver Hotel (scroll down this page for the address and details).

We did this for the first time following the February program,
and we
may make it a regular "tradition".
(Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be available for purchase, if you wish.)

ALSO, please bring along YOUR ideas for the June program:
"A WAY WITH WORDS"
-- we would love to know which songs have YOUR favorite lyrics!
The Helms Building originally housed
the most famous bakery in Los Angeles
– in 1932, they baked
“the official bread” for the Olympics!
Sometimes it seems we can STILL smell the bread baking...
Now it offers a wide array of furniture stores in a five-acre complex, including
The Antique Guild, Plummers, Eastman, Dansk,
and Levitz.

Come early -- make a day of it!
Browse through some of the lovely stores within the Helms Bakery complex,
or drop in at the
museum and see some terrific photos
of the original bakery and its fleet of delivery trucks.

Then grab a bite to eat next door to the Jazz Bakery, at:

8703 Washington Blvd. (on the corner of Helms Avenue and Washington Blvd.)
